What's Inside You?

Do you at times observe your reactions and wonder where those attitudes and words came from? You did not realise there were such thoughts in your mind. You did not know you had the ability to react that way.

You wouldn't know what is in a toothpaste tube until you squeeze it.

when you are put through a difficult situation and squeezed, the 'real you' shows up!

It is good then to objectively check yourself, consider and work towards the needed change.

It is what you put into your mind that forms your attitude and focus. Your form of thinking will result in your actions and reactions. You will be living what you are believing! When the tube is squeezed, what is inside will come out. Until then, you yourself might not know what is inside you!

Are you filled with hurt, anger and bitterness?

"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, 

or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; 

for a tree is known by its fruit. 

Brood of vipers! 

How can you, being evil, speak good things? 

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart 

brings forth good things, 

and an evil man out of the evil treasure 

brings forth evil things.
Matthew 12:33-35

Are you filled with GOD'S love?

 Now hope does not disappoint,

 because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts 

by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Romans 5:5 

Come humbly to the Almighty GOD 

and ask Him to fill your heart with His amazing love.

 On the last day, that great day of the feast, 

Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 

"If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, 

out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
John 7:37-38

Then let rivers of Living Water flow through you, 

bringing refreshing to others!

Healing

One has to be sick to experience healing. Only when you are sick can you know The LORD JESUS CHRIST as your Healer. In this world of sin, sickness is rampant. GOD says, "I AM The LORD Who heals you." GOD heals us when we are sick.

Not only does GOD heal us physically, He also heals us spiritually and emotionally.

We have to be spiritually wounded, that is, convicted of sin in our heart and repent, to be forgiven and saved by grace. There has to be rending before there can be mending. Therefore tear away pride, selfishness and worldliness from your heart so that JESUS can heal you.

Don't resist or react when others wound you emotionally. Take the hurt to The LORD JESUS and allow Him to heal you until His love flows into you and through you even to the one who hurt you. In this way you will overcome evil with good! Be an overcomer!!

JESUS, your Great Physician makes you whole by healing your spirit, soul and body!

Garbage truck!

I know at least two little boys who are very excited every Thursday morning. The cause of the excitement is interestingly the garbage truck!

I feel happy as I collect all the rubbish in our home - any old food, waste paper, garden waste and the dust from the vacuum cleaner - and dump all of it into the bin. I keep thanking God for the provision of effective disposal of garbage as I push the big bin out to the curb.
Like the little boys, I enjoy watching the truck pick up all the garbage down the road. I especially feel a relief when I see our household rubbish taken away by the truck.

Isn't it so in the spiritual realm as well? All of us are laden with all kinds of garbage such as anger, hurts, bitterness,strife, pride, stress, confusion and so on. When we are overwhelmed with these things, we unload and pour these onto others, scattering and spreading the garbage. It is no wonder that our world is so dirty!

Where are the garbage trucks and isn't there a spiritual garbage disposal system? Yes, there is! The good news is that it is available to all of us.Calvary is where ALL such rubbish is cleared. That is where the Holy, Pure Son of God was tortured and crucified as a criminal. He has paid for the disposal of ALL our sins and filthiness. His blood that poured out, is the most powerful sin-stain-remover.

You can come to Him now in faith and pour out all that is in your heart to Him. Just humbly ask the Lord JESUS to take away every sin and hurt. Speak to Him as you would speak to a loving father. He is right there with you. As you unload your he, you can have it filled with His love.

Once you are cleaned up, you can be a garbage truck - an intercessor - transporting the garbage of others to Calvary!
